Britain Broderick is the founder of The Britain Foundation.
He founded The Britain Foundation on February 23rd 2023.
Why Britain founded The Britain Foundation:
Britain had autism his whole life, but didn’t know it until he was diagnosed later in life. He was shocked at how little he knew about the subject when he was diagnosed. However, he realized that these symptoms, these behaviors, and the way he thinks were always there but he didn't consider them as signs of autism. So with becoming more informed about the signs of autism, he began connecting the dots that have been there the whole time. He soon realized he was actually quite the expert on the topic of autism, because he had 18 years of first hand experiences with it. He knew that with all these experiences and an inside look on autism, he could spread his knowledge to show a new look on what autism truly is. He inspires to share his own unique perspective to spread autism awareness, so that when people hear the word "autism" they don’t view it as a negative, but as a different way of looking at things. He believes that these differences should be embraced, because it sparks change and progress; only when we come to this understanding will we recognize how empowering autism truly is. Not only does he want to refine the way the general population defines autism, but he wants to help people with autism as well. Britain has had his own unique challenges with autism, and to use those experiences and his firsthand perspective to help guide people with autism. He wishes to help people learn to change these challenges into power, and go onto live a successful life not hindered by the "autistic" label. He also wants to let people with autism know that label or not, autism has been a part of them their whole life and just because they have a label attached to them it doesn’t change them as a person. Britain made this foundation and will show extreme dedication by using his own special abilities that come along with autism such as unrivaled focus, non waiverable perseverance, and impeccable attention to detail, to progress The Britain Foundation to make a lasting difference.
