What is this tournament for?
The BNSN Basketball Tournament is promoting autism awareness as well as fundraising to help support research towards autism.
How is the tournament setup?
How the tournament will be setup can be viewed in the Tournament Guidelines page. To access the Tournament Guidelines page, go to the Events page and scroll down to view the Tournament Guidelines page button. Click on this button to be redirected to the Tournament Guidelines page where you will be provided information regarding how the tournament will be setup.
How do I sign up to play in the tournament?
To sign up to play in the tournament go to the event page and scroll down to Register Your Team section. Click on the image to access the Register Your Team Page. Once you are on the Register Your Team Page fill out the proper form for the division you wish to play in and then pay the entry fee for your team to officially be registered in the tournament.
- Can I sign up for the Open Women's Division
To sign up for the Open Women's Division you must not have a man on your team. This division is exclusive to women.
- Can I sign up for the Open Men's Division?
To sign up for the Open Men's Division you must not have a women on your team. This division is exclusive to men.
Can I become a volunteer for the tournament?
Yes! We would love to have volunteers to help run the tournament. To become a volunteer go to Volunteer section. This section is located in the middle of the page of the Events Page. Click on the image to access the Volunteer Page. Once you are on the Volunteer Page fill out the proper form for the day you wish to volunteer.
- What would I be doing as a volunteer?
As a volunteer you would be helping The Britain Foundation help run the tournament. This ranges from a variety of tasks but none of which require previous experience. To list a few jobs volunteers would be doing would include score keeping, time keeping, stat keeping, reporting the scores of the game, overseeing a court, and help run a concession stand. These are some of the jobs that we need filled to run the tournament. As we get closer to tournament time we may find that we need help in other areas as well.
What if I can't make the tournament but I still want to be involved?
We have many options that you can pick from that don't actually require you to attend the tournament. You can Donate, Become A Sponsor, and Spread The Word. We do not expect everyone to make the tournament so we created many other creative ways you can still be involved. All of these options help support the tournament just as much as being there. All of this information for these sections can be accessed on the Events Page. Scroll down to the middle of the Events Page and click on the corresponding image that relates to the option you choose.
I'm having trouble finding the forms I wish to fill out.
All of the forms that are under The BNSN Basketball Tournament can be found in the resources page. The resource page is found on the website's directional bar. If you are on a computer the directional bar is located at the top of the website. If you are on a mobile device the directional bar is accessed by pressing the three lined icon on the top left of your screen. Once you are on the resources page scroll down to the middle of the resources page and you shall see all the resources under The BNSN Basketball Tournament. Note: Some forms have to be filled out in addition to paying a fee to officially enter your form. If this is true for the form you are filling out please go the events page where all the payment methods are located. Refer to the above sections of the FAQ page to see how to navigate the events page.
